- Maternal and New born Health: PATH Sure Start Maharashtra Project
Supported by PATH, “Sure Start”, is an initiative in Maternal and Newborn Health which is aimed at significantly reducing maternal and newborn mortality and morbidity in urban slums of Malegaon.
The program has been designed to complement and support the Government of India’s commitment to improving maternal and newborn health, especially within the context of its Reproductive and Child Health program (RCH II), the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), and state-level policies and programmes.
SWAASTHYA is addressing these issues by replicating its MNH model in partnership with Malegaon Municipal Corporation (MMC)
